slow cooker ham and bean soup--Why would I (a kosher-keeping Jew), re-pin this? Because a smoked turkey leg or thigh is a perfect substitute in any recipe calling for ham or ham shanks or ham hocks. So I no longer ignore all the yummy-looking ham recipes. This one looks delish. I will be making this and renaming it, "Kosher Smoked Turkey Leg and White Bean Soup."
