20 Holiday Appetizer Ideas. Pineapple Cheese Ball: 1 1/2 packages (12oz.) cream cheese. 1 sm. can crushed pineapple (well drained), powdered sugar (approx. 2-3 T), green onions (approx. 2 T, chopped ham (approx. 2 T), chopped pecans (about 1 c.) Combine all ingred, except pecans, and form into a ball and chill. Roll in pecans and refrigerate 'til serve. Serve with Ritz-type crackers.
